If you read about the first day, the second day of QFEST 2023 was a feast. The knowledge parties had sessions after the main classes as attendees practically followed the seasoned facilitators back to the admin room for deeper explanations and another round of question & answers. To say it was exciting is putting it lightly; it was a blast!

The Avoid the Block session by Ms Oyinkan of Bodyworks was an amazing class. There was room for attendees to connect with their souls by placing their hands on their chest and meditating. We have it on good authority that attendees who had struggled with blocks prior to the class experienced some breakthrough that led to clarity and visual manifestation. Here is proof of how awesome it was for participants

The Content Creation class by Alawode Abisola of Zikoko was quite interactive and engaging. Laughter was heard at intervals as the facilitator took participants to lalaland with enthralling stories. Attendees left with tangible knowledge and techniques to help them improve the quality of content shared via their social media handles.

The Bestseller to Blockbuster – Book-to-screen adaptation class by Femi Odugbemi had the guests going for an additional round of questions and answer. He broke down the concepts and gave practical examples that gave some insight into the art of filmmaking.

The Show Me the Money class by James Murua from Kenya was a blast and the feedback from the attendees was that it was worth their while and time.

The Scriptwriting – Adapting Book to Stage and Screen by Jude Idada practically exceeded the allotted time because of the need to share knowledge and stories.

In all, Day 2 was a potpourri of exciting stories, eager creatives and robust experience from the industry experts. Let’s see what Day 3 brings, shall we?
